HDR photos compromise of an odd number of frames ranging from 3 to 9 individual images.<\/p>\n<p>Typically there is an even number of under-exposed frames to an even number of over-exposed images anchored by a properly exposed image. Below is a typical example of a 5 bracket HDR setup. In general, the more frames and wider the exposure value, the greater the dynamic range of the image.<\/p>\n<p>As a rule of thumb VPiX and CSI360 best practices recommends the following:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Well lit &#8211; high contrast scenes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>3 Brackets, +- 0.3 \u2013 3 Stop Intervals<\/p>\n<p><strong>Low light or low contrast Scenes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>5 Brackets, +- 0.3 \u2013 3 Stop Intervals<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\" data-created_by=\"avia_inline_auto\" id=\"style-css-av-2wjupv-3339acb221e6073dbe23ed190692ffdc\">\n#top .av_textblock_section.av-2wjupv-3339acb221e6073dbe23ed190692ffdc .avia_textblock{\nfont-size:28px;\npadding:aviaTBpadding aviaTBpadding aviaTBpadding aviaTBpadding;\n}\n<\/style>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-2wjupv-3339acb221e6073dbe23ed190692ffdc '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>3. Shoot 1 Well Exposed Image<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-2pjrvf-4c24c7547b6f1e0b4425bc0a2ae7d0f7 '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>A well-exposed shot of your subject will serve as the baseline of your HDR image. If you are shooting in manual mode, you will need to adjust your ISO and aperture, to the appropriate settings for your subject. Finally, adjust your shutter speed so that the light meter is centered on the \u20180\u2019 mark.
